Featuring over 200 exhibits which showcase thousands of fresh and saltwater aquatic species, Oklahoma Aquarium offers a great educational experience to visitors from around the country. Exhibits focus on various aspects of aquatic life, such as adaptability and biodiversity, as well as showcase a wide array of regional species from throughout Oklahoma and the Ozarks. An especially popular attraction is the interactive Oceans Room, where visitors can actually touch various species, such as stingrays and small sharks, in the aquarium's touch tanks. This terrific aquarium is located in the Tulsa's southern suburb of Jenks and offers a gift shop, restaurant and an amazing fishing tackle museum on site.
